Summary/Abstract: The main topic of the article refers to project controlling issues in the classical project management approach based both on the Project Cycle Management (PCM) methodology and Logical Framework Approach (LFA). Both of them expresses a participative cooperation model between contractors and key stakeholders, a.o. taking into account different perspectives and points of view regarding the goal and success criteria of the implemented project / program and enable specific shaping of the controlling system at all levels of decision making. The author analyzes elements of the PCM and LFA approach identifying the contact points of the controlling system with the project / program management cycle defined in above approaches.
