Summary/Abstract: Analysis of the postpositiviste theories is important in developing The Multipolar World Theory. The approach presented in this article – an analysis of the theoretical landmarks important for the multipolar world - is an attempt to have a comparative evaluation of the identity and civilizational patterns in the international relations system and the influence of specific characteristics of each state regarding the relations between civilizations and the impact of the hegemony exerted by the Western world on the identity of each state.
