Summary/Abstract: In order to succeed in the process of Romanian Armed Forces transformation, there are three stages to be followed, and the period 2016 – 2025 is ,,The stage of full integration into NATO and European Union”, as mentioned in the document ”Romanian Armed Forces Transformation Strategy”. This paper presents NATO and European Union views on higher military education and our opinion on the actions to be taken at national level, in order to get full compatibility with the higher military education in Euro-Atlantic space.
