Summary/Abstract: The author discussed the stories Ammunition Park of Polish Legions: its formation,arrival in the vicinity of Łódź and activity in 1916-1917. He showedthe profiles of the sub-unit commanders and their further fate in World WarI, also after 1918. He also described the course in the summer of 1917 and thecircumstances of the ammunition park. The author also presents the attitudeof the inhabitans of Łódź villages and settlements to legionaries – from suspicionand resentment to established friendships and sympathies. At the end hedescribed examples of marriages, that were made by the inhabitans of the townsof Łódź after the war with the soldiers of the Polish Legions.
