Summary/Abstract: The evolution of the new technologies is a reality of every social system, this being reflected at the level of every subsystem, the educational one included. The integration of these technologies in the training process, in the teaching activity, but also in the learning and assessment one represents, first of all, a necessity, which, can often be translated into the possibility of achievement. The study proposes a critical analysis of the possibilities of capitalizing on the flipped classroom in the Romanian university education system, especially in the context of training future teachers, respectively of the future professionals in education, of those able to become trainers for the generations of students. The research method used was the questionnaire-based survey, the opinion questionnaire being applied on a sample of 78 master students, who are preparing to become teachers at the same time. The results of the research highlighted the advantages and disadvantages of the flipped classroom and confirmed the need to train the skills which are necessary to the teachers in order to be able to teach in this type of class.
