The power of statistical information

Summary/Abstract: The article aims at highlighting the phenomenon of statistical information as a medium of unique power (energy), which allows people to take reasonable measures in all areas of social, economic, political, and cultural life etc. For the research purpose the infological interpretation of the concept information and statistical information was used. In order to prove the thesis that statistical information has certain power, some features of statistical information were indicated herein and several examples of its function related to the practical use of such information were presented.
