Summary/Abstract: The purpose of our paper is to provide a few pieces of spiritual advice and teachings on the Christian faith as found in Patriarch Nicodim Munteanu’s writing: Ce să crezi și cum să trăiești? Adecă schema credinței și moralei creștine. The work we refer to was written in 1905 and it is among the first publications of the above-mentioned author, who was at the time administrative vicar of the diocese Dunărea de Jos (1902-1909). Written in a clear and simple manner, with a deep dogmatic and moral character, his work is representative even today for the believers’ spiritual growth.
