Summary/Abstract: The author of a work has moral rights and patrimonial rights over his creation. The author of the creation has the right to decide „whether, how and when his work will be used, including consenting to the use of his work by others.” The moral and patrimonial rights are recognized and guaranteed by Law no. 8/1996, and their violation entails civil, contraventional or criminal liability.
