Summary/Abstract: If 2016 was a stormy and an eventful year on Chinese political and military arena concerning the germination of a new form of „democratic centralism” and strengthening of President Xi Jinping`s position, this year 2017 announce already to be a more spectacular one, with predictable and impredictible actors and competitive scramble for power among different political factions. The power games gained momentum due to future 19th Congress of Chinese Communist Party, where are supposed to be enthroned the Beijing`s future political leadership. The paradox is that the strengthening of President Xi Jinping`s position does not imply the CCP monopoly shut-down, but contrary, the CCP consolidation.
