Summary/Abstract: The purpose of normalization is to adjust the size (magnitude) and the relative weighting of the input variables. The article presents an overview of the normalization formulas and their properties. Moreover a new formulas of normalization of the values of variables are proposed. The article discusses connection among normalization formulas and indicates incorrect normalization formulas.
