Summary/Abstract: The article offers an overview of approaches to describing the connection between language and culture, techniques for the study of cultural norms. Author considers the types of cultural interaction, the specifics of diasporal linguaculture, a set of features characterizing the diasporas (far abroad) and the diaspora of “cataclysms” in postsoviet countries. She emphasizes the importance of linguacultural influence on the language and communicative norms changes in diaspora. The signs of diasporal conceptualization are presented. These features formed the basis for the descriptive model of the Russian language as pluricentric in the aspect of linguistic culture.
