Summary/Abstract: The behaviours regarding nutrition and physical activity must be cultivated through education, as early as possible. Children who learn since childhood to eat breakfast daily, to eat fruits and vegetables, to exercise, to value their health, will practice these skills in adult life and will educate their children as well. The main source regarding the dietary and physical activity behaviours of children and teenagers in our country is represented by the HBSC study (Health behaviour in school-aged children). Quality nutrition is essential for reducing childhood illnesses, promoting optimum health and preventing chronic diseases in the future of the adult. Eating habits are formed in childhood and will last for a lifetime, so it is important to intervene as soon as possible in the community.(Eşi, 2014)
