Summary/Abstract: As one wanders among the streets, the concept of street art aims to surprise the viewer with the understanding of finding things without looking. For starters the expression of the sub-culture motto: ''I am here'', the street, a powerful civic space, and transforms into an art gallery or a museum through art. Streets, that are public spaces belonging to everyone, have become the most important civic place, by creating a voice for the people who need to have a say about their living space. The use of the street as a place for discussing ideas and problems has been affected through this concept. In this study, in order to understand what street art is, firstly the place of the street in the public space has been evaluated. However, through time, by expanding its limits, street art has continued to gain huge momentum, among the examples of works in different disciplines that he added to the way, attention was drawn to ceramic material. The use of ceramic material in street art was evaluated with this approach and new discourses developed along with the elements of the street were included.
