Summary/Abstract: Purpose – In this study, it was aimed to examine the effect of work-family conflict on work engagement in the accommodation enterprises employees. Design/methodology/approach – In this study, a research and analysis were carried out to determine the effect of work-family conflict on work engagement. The independent variable of the research is the work-family conflict, and the dependent variable is work engagement. In the research, the Work-Family Conflict Scale developed by Carlson, Kacmar and Williams (2000) and adapted to Turkish by Aycan and Eskin (2005) was used to measure the work-family conflict situations of the employees and the "Work Engagement Scale" developed by Kanungo (1982) and adapted to Turkish by Çakır (2001) was used to measure the levels of work engagement. The sample of the study consists of 430 employees, working in accommodation businesses in Samsun. Statistical methods such as frequency analysis, correlation and regression were used in the analysis of the data.
