Summary/Abstract: This paper represents the synthesis of the multiannual investigations of the ichthyofauna of different natural aquatic ecosystems on the Republic of Moldova territory. The classification of fish and associations species was performed according to the intensity of the anthropogenic impact on the ecosystems. It has been found that most fish representatives currently demonstrate a fairly high adaptive potential. As a result of the “dilution of native species communities effect” against the background of the active expansion of allogeneic and intervening fish species, there is often an increase in the value of ichthyofauna diversity, including quantitative indicators
