Summary/Abstract: Possession as a de facto control is directly defended by the actions of the possessors against all disturbances caused by third parties. The regulations of the Civil Code and the new Code of Civil Procedure make important changes in this area, but without exhausting the problems posed by previous doctrine and jurisprudence.
