Summary/Abstract: Between 12 April and 17 October 2016, we surveyed the ladybird beetles in the western part of the Warsaw park Pole Mokotowskie. Altogether, we recorded 1073 ladybird individuals belonging to 23 species. The invasive harlequin ladybird (Harmonia axyridis) was a very clear dominant, accounting for 64.6% of all recorded ladybirds. This species predominated in all habitat types distinguished by us: on deciduous trees and shrubs (73.5%), on coniferous trees (49%) and in the layer of herbaceous vegetation (24%). The majority of ladybird species recorded in this study commonly occur in Poland. Three species, Adalia
