Feasibility Study of an IT Research and Development Project

Summary/Abstract: The article presents the methodical concept of a feasibility study of a researchand development project. The feasibility study is an essential element of the procedure of obtaining grants for the implementation of innovative projects in the ICT. In detail, key elements of the feasibility study will be presented, specific conditions related to the financing of this category of ventures from European Union funds will be discussed, as well as practical implications regarding the development of new, innovative products, systems and information technologies. The article was based on the results of the project “An advisory system supporting diagnosis of workplaces” co-financed from the European Union funds POIG.01.03.01-14-059 /12.
