Summary/Abstract: Law 286/2006 for amending and completing the Law of Local Public Administration no. 215/2001, regulated the intercommunity development associations, which are cooperation structures that aim to jointly develop projects of regional interest. In the following article, we intend to analyze the new challenges faced by local public authorities in view of the increasing mobility of the local urban communities. Thus, intercommunity development associations might be the solution for solving the administrative problems that may occur.
