Summary/Abstract: Poverty reduction strategies and policies have gained considerable popularity in recent policy discourse and international economic relations. Studying poverty reduction program of the countries is very crucial in order to apprehend or amend the policies and strategies if there is a problem. The Overall objective of this paper is to make a general overview and assessment of the sustainable development and poverty reduction strategy of Ethiopia. Finally it tries to make a conclusion remarks and some recommendations on the preparation and implementation of the sustainable development and poverty reduction document of Ethiopia.
