Summary/Abstract: This study questions the «dialogical» nature at work in African literature. It scrutinizes the work of art in its internal components to show how it constantly interacts with other fields to produce patterns of heterogeneity. But how does this work through the writing of the novel tale? The sociocritical apparatus stylized by Pierre Barbéris inspires our reflection. By manipulating its key concepts of explicit and implicit, we show, in two parts, that intergenericity and intertextuality constitute the main interferential levers that influence the dialogical link between the textual codes that interpenetrate in the narrative. For Werewere Liking, the aim is to suggest an ethical strategy aimed at repositioning African men who are prey to behavioral deception and bewilderment.
