Summary/Abstract: Emil Cioran était l’ami de Clément Rosset. Ce dernier appréciait l’homme, avec lequel, en particulier, il riait beaucoup. Il admirait aussi l’œuvre de Cioran. C’est alors animé d’un regard à la fois exigeant et bienveillant que Rosset s’est attaché à distinguer sa vision tragique du réel du pessimisme de Cioran. // Emil Cioran was Clément Rosset’s friend. The latter liked the man, with whom he particularly laughed a lot. He also admired Cioran’s work. It was then animated by a stringent yet benevolent look that Rosset set out to distinguish between Cioran’s pessimism and his tragic vision of reality.
