Summary/Abstract: The Manuscripts and Early Prmted Books Department of The Andrey Sheptytsky National Museum in Lviv owns the largest in Ukrainę collection of books printed by Francysk Skaryna (1470? - before 29 I 1552), publisher, translator, one of the precursors of the East Slavonic printings. Even though it is the largest Francysk Skaryna’s book collection in Ukrainę, it includes only 21 titles (23 copies in 9 volumes). The article aims to establish the provenance of each copy of Skaryna’s books from the museum collection. The objective of provenance re- search is to tracę the previous ownership history and location of these books. The publication is also focused on explaining and extending some informahon about Skaryna’s books mentioned in museum documents and previous publicahons.
