Summary/Abstract: The happiest barrack in the socialist camp. So was Hungary called in the 50’s. But did marginalized groups of the social periphery perceived the country in the same manner? The study examines the connection between prostitution and prohibition, while studying the effects of socialism on Hungary, criminal politics and the police’s work. The author uses his own previous research results to answer the questions.
