Summary/Abstract: Taking into consideration the importance of advertising in the recent years, it has achieved a significant exposure in human life. The subject covered by this paper deals with unconventional advertising, to which I will refer to as divertising. The way in which society has changed regarding the life of consumerism has affected and influenced advertising, forcing it to be updated to a more effective means of communication. Besides this aspect, the research will lead to the second aspect of this topic, which is the impact it has upon the consumer. To sum up with I will analyze some recent examples of divertising for a better understanding of the key concepts of this study.
