Summary/Abstract: Most of the time, bibliophile rarities are found in the collections of some libraries or museums, and in some cases – rarer – in private collections. In the Romanian area, beside the remembered institutions, important collections are owned by denominations; such a collection is also that of the Alba Iulia Orthodox Archdiocese which, recently, adjoined the collection of old book and icons of the National Museum of Unification Alba Iulia to build up Museikon collection. The remembered collection also comprises several copies of old Romanian book whose origin can be traced back to parishes from the Upper Mures Valley. We refer to 15 printings that appeared in typographical centres from Bălgrad [Alba Iulia], Blaj, Bucharest, Sibiu or Râmnic, between 1651 and 1808. By the handwritten notes preserved on their leaves, the fifteen copies offer supplementary information on certain moments from the life of communities that bought the books and took care of them, recalling the personalities that lived in this area, in the XIXth-XXth centuries.
