Summary/Abstract: This paper provides examples of the use of loanwords, i.e. Serbian and Turkish words in everyday speech of Croats in Mostar and the surrounding area. The paper was written on the basis of field research, equally researching at all generation levels (population of young, old and middle-aged), as well as in the wider territory of Mostar and its surroundings.
