Summary/Abstract: The aim of this study is to determine the level of adjustment to university and perceived stress of the students studying at the Near East University Faculty of Theology and the Cyprus Social Sciences University Faculty of Religion Sciences. In the research carried out with a mixed method, "University Adjustment Scale", "Perceived Stress Scale" and "Semi-Structured Interview Form" were used. According to the results of the research conducted with 264 students in 2020, it was observed that the students had a high level of adjustment to university life and their perception of stress was low. It was determined that gender and class variables affect compliance and stress situations, and female students had higher compliance scores than male students. It was determined that the compliance levels of the first year students are lower than the students in other classes. Variables that do not affect students' adjustment to university life and stress levels are the regions in Turkey that they come from, and high schools they graduated from, and their income levels. In the qualitative part, it is determined that establishing an easy dialogue with the lecturers is an important factor that facilitates the adjustment process.
