Summary/Abstract: The power of social networking sites and mainly their negative impactive linked to their active use have recently been widely discussed. Still all social media are full of various challenges people tend to undergo not only to fulfil their main goal, but rather due to their attractivity and trendiness. The latest successful challenge #trashtagchallenge has generated positive frenziness across all social networking sites and thanks to a simple “celebrity” hashtag, it has helped to fight a serious environmental problem, which is waste and any corresponding environmental polution.
