Summary/Abstract: The Covid19 pandemic has been declared the worst pandemic since the Spanish Flu.Most countries globally are, at the time of submitting this paper, in a battle to keep their deathrates down. While a lot of the measures taken by countries are common, as suggested by theWorld Health Organization, most countries have communicated and implemented these measures in starkly different ways, some highly nuanced by culture. This paper is an attempt to analyze how cultural values have influenced these communications and implementation of measures in India, where the stakes are particularly high due to a large and dense population.
