Miłosz, “Miłość”/“Love” and a Message for a New Age

Summary/Abstract: Czesław Miłosz’s ten-verse poem “Miłość”/“Love” from 1943 has often been commented on, but not a single full interpretation of this well-known and mysterious piece has yet been proposed. To address this gap, Nycz juxtaposes the poem’s meanings with the anthropological-(techno)cultural models of love dominant today. He concludes by questioning the validity of the message contained in Miłosz’s poem.
