The Virtual Classroom: applications in university settings

Summary/Abstract: The aim of this report is to present the virtual classroom software product and to comment on the possible practical aspects of its use in online higher education. The main functionalities attributed to work in online environment are presented and commentary on their advantages for classroom use is provided. A brief overview of the context of using virtual classroom tools is offered, as well as explanation of the initial purpose of the project of which this report is a part and the future prospects concerning its development.
