Summary/Abstract: The story of Vatican involvement in criminal activities on a large scale highlights the penetration force of mafia groups, the high degree of corruption in the Vatican and political and financial structures of Italy and other states. This article submits an illustrative example of the perfect fusion achieved between organized crime, church and state authorities.
