Summary/Abstract: Conservatism, one of the most important political ideologies in Turkish Political History, in particular is among the subjects discussed frequently in the last 20 years in Turkey. To recognize and correctly define this western origin concept, the main factors that drive politics in Turkey will help to understand the truth. In this respect, what elements Conservatism is built on is as important as its definition. In my study, the main criteria that reveal ideology will be summarized and it will be tried to embody the definition of conservatism.
