Summary/Abstract: The article focuses on the begining and progression of the Russian- Georgian 2008 War according to the international law principles. In addition, the article analyzes the pre-war period of the large-scale hostilities between the two countries. It aims to find out whether the Russian-Georgian war is justified with the principles of the fair warfare with the international law. Detailed discussions about the begining of the war and it's progress according to the international law principles made it possible to analyze the Russian-Georgian 2008 conflict.
