Summary/Abstract: Economic empowerment of women in the global level has gained importance in the last 50 years. Countries have made a number of reforms to empower women economically. However, women's participation in economic life is still not at the desired level. Institutions and organizations such as the World Bank, International Labor Organization, and the United Nations provide statistical data and periodic reports on this issue. The common view in these reports is that women are less likely to participate in the labor market than men and are more likely to be unemployed in many parts of the world. The purpose of this study; Based on statistical data, it reveals the current situation regarding the place of women in the economy in Turkish World Countries.
