Summary/Abstract: Shared between two cultures, two languages, two countries, having undergone a process of acculturation in his childhood, Eugène Ionesco adopts at the mature age the French like language of writing and makes a choice, which wants to be definitive, for the France and French. However, his Romanian identity, even if he constantly denied it, he could not cancel it completely, he returned all the way, towards the end of his life.
