Novation, Renovation, Alternation and Restoration of the Contract

Summary/Abstract: The author demonstrates that there is a difference between novation in its capacity of a tool for extinction of the contract obligation and the renovation of the contract. Some specific measures of the novation, the renovation, alteration of the contract are described and a new notion in the contract law is introduced – the restoration of the contract. The theory of the contract has been enriched on the way, that these differences between the four notions are exposed and it has been proved that the four notions are well known in our legislation.
