Summary/Abstract: Between art and science, wealth management is not just a segment of banking products that bring considerable profits to private banks, but is the art of understanding your customers and establishing, maintaining and predicting a professional relationship with them. From the perspective of the rich person, wealth management is simply the science of solving / amplifying his financial situation. From the perspective of the financial consultant, wealth management is the ability of a consultant or advisory team to provide a full range of financial services and products to a wealthy client in an advisory manner. Offering a huge development potential, we will analyze the importance of introducing wealth management services in Romania and their impact by analyzing the preferences of Romanian customers regarding wealth management and private banking products.
