Summary/Abstract: In order to meet the requirements in their curriculum, each student must undergo a specialty practice. This is true for students in ICT, as in the Nikola Vaptsarov Naval Academy apply permanently or experimentally these three approaches. The traditional approach is to pass internships after the end of the second and third year to a certain term in the university or a company working in the field of information technologies. In universities, the practice is carried out by uniform plan and in relatively large groups. Another approach is to use the semesters to practice with a focus on the subjects studied this semester.Introducing an experimental third approach to individual needs and the acquisition of professional skills by a small group of students. In this approach, teachers are managers who manage a virtual student company that executes a team-specific practical project. The purpose of introducing this approach is to involve students in the process, as well as to build skills that are not acquired in other approaches.
