Summary/Abstract: The paper is focused on the investigation of the forms and methods of Soviet propaganda used in order to support the diplomatic action, ideological motivation, explanation and justification of the military operations carried out aiming to occupy Romanian territories, in accordance with the secret protocol of the Soviet-German Non-aggression Pact, in 1940. The objective of the study is to underline the Soviet propaganda’s stratagems used in the context of the occupation of Bessarabia, Northern part of Bukovina and Hertza region, and to expose the instruments and the nature of the propaganda after the occupation of the Romanian territories and the creation of the Moldavian Soviet Socialist Republic.
