Summary/Abstract: What makes us really happy? Is nature, money, relationships, food, safety, work in the workplace or is it an entrepreneur? There are so many different explanations of what makes us happy. Well, there is no perfect answer we have for that. Starting in 2011, after the UN General Assembly adopted a resolution and it is the World Happiness Report, there is data on the index happiness report. This report pays special attention to the social foundations of happiness for individuals and nations, happiness being increasingly considered to be an appropriate measure of social progress and the purpose of public policy. Finally, I have studied the quality of jobs by considering how the specific characteristics of the workplace relate to happiness. Beyond the expected finding, those who work well are happier and more satisfied with life and work, a number of other aspects of people's jobs are powerful predictions for greater happiness - these include work-life balance personal life, autonomy, variety, job security, social capital, health and safety risks.
