Summary/Abstract: Nowadays education follows new directions concerning the theories of learning and the instructional approaches. The curriculum itself encounters new ways of organizations and the teachers use such constructivist instructional approaches as Project‑based learning. Constructivism represents a new paradigm in education where the student comes first at the center of the educational approach. According to the constructivist views, the education has a pedagogical side based on the cognitive theory of learning and the inborn inclinations of the students, but also a sociological one based on the fact that each individual is a product of a specific society and he must be prepared according to his abilities, but also according to the social requirements. Within this article I exemplified the use of such constructivist approaches as Project‑based learning within an English learning class, taking into account both the content acquisition but also the integration of communicative skills.
