Summary/Abstract: The study focuses on a new interpretation of deictic anaphoricity treating it as a means for bringing forth an older piece of information—presupposition—in the local context of communication from the general communication discourse. This multi-directional referential process secures two indispensable text and discourse structuring prerequisites: text cohesion and discourse coherence.
