Summary/Abstract: A characteristic feature of a Change paradigm of the social environment of children in post-modern era is permanently changing. As Pileckaitė-Markovienė (2005) says, a student’s popularity among his/her peers is connected with his/her confidence in the environment and adoption of this environment. Sometimes it is hard to find friends for children because they change their living place. Changing school has a negative influence on learning achievement (Tijūnėlienė, Rupšienė, 2005). Living place is reflected in interrelations. No big differences between parents’, education city and country population have been noticed. Byrne (2000) assumes that restricted, not self-confident, anxious, reserved teenagers are not trusted by their peers and become socially isolated. An empirical research the aim of which was to analyse relations of children (11-18 years of age) from city and country with the teachers, parents and peers was carried out. 400 pupils of different age girls and boys from four schools (Kaunas and Kaunas district, two from the city and two from the country side, took part in the research. The age of the respondents was 11–18 years old. The questions of the questionnaire were oriented to wards relations between: pupils and teachers, pupils and peers, parents and children. In conclusion with the teachers, that relations it may be stated are important for pupils. Boys, especially elder and from the city, evaluate unsuitable behaviour properly. Pupils think that unsuitable behaviour is “bad” or “very bad”. Good behaviour with parents is not so important for boys from the city and the country side. Girls from the country side cousider bad behaviour with parents as insignificant.
