Summary/Abstract: Government debt in the form of government securities is one of the relationships between sovereign and financial institutions in the country. The links are multifaceted and complex, with the risk being transferred in both directions through several major channels. The volume of government securities issued on the domestic market does not directly and unconditionally influence the number and volume of trans-actions on the secondary interbank market of government securities. The results of this study present low level of correlation coefficients between debt issued in the domestic and the four types of registered government securities transactions on the secondary market.
