Summary/Abstract: The telling of a story is at the core of many of Paul Auster’s novels yet, in the recent years, the author has shifted his attention from the “what” to the “who" of his narratives. As such, the present paper analyses the telling of the Other within Auster's latest novel 4321 through the lenses of Americana.
