Summary/Abstract: In connection with the aggravation of interethnic relations and interethnic conflicts in today’s society, the problem of effective intercultural interaction exists. In this article intercultural competence is considered as an important component of the cultural-competent professional training of specialists (pedagogues, psychologists, social workers, etc.) who work directly with people in multicultural regions.
