Summary/Abstract: Wishing to pay homage to Father Gavril Relea, we will try through this study to evoke some important moments in the pastoral-missionary, cultural and philanthropic activity of this worthy servant of God, who suffered a lot during the Horthy period, being expelled. by the Hungarian authorities in Cluj and refugee, temporarily (1940-1945), within the Diocese of Timișoara, during the pastorate of the worthy of mention Bishop Vasile Lăzărescu.
