Summary/Abstract: The question about the scope, content and effectiveness ofactivities is the subject of the article in which the author analyzes themethods of making Poland’s security policy dependent on the USSR in thecontext of establishing the country border on the Oder and Nysa Łużyckaas an act of historical justice, which could only had been done thanks tothe Polish communists supported by the USSR. Consequently, the foreignand military policy of People’s Poland was incorporated into a broadercoalition structure, i.e. fully dependent on Soviet policy. This policy wasjustified in such a way to show the inevitability of Soviet security guaranteesarising from the Polish-Soviet brotherhood of arms.
